If you’re looking for social media conversation among your fellow villagers there are a number of opportunities.
WhatsApp groups
- Neighbourhood watch group is the best way for people to update each other on changing circumstances or events
- Covid-19 volunteer group is where volunteers stay in touch and inform each other about who in the village might need help
- Pizza and pint group meets at the Vines on a Friday for a face-to-face social and Pizzaiolo Giovanni’s great pizzas
- BALDies (Black Bourton Against Litter Dropping) is a brand new group that meets every 4-6 weeks at the War Memorial for a social hours walk with litter picking as a by-product
If you’d like to join any of these groups just use the Contact form and include the name of the group in ‘Your Subject’ and your mobile telephone number in ‘Your Message’ and the administrator of the group will welcome you in.

Facebook groups
We have two Facebook groups supporting our village.
- The public group is there for everyone interested in what the village is up to.
- The private group is for villagers only, allowing us more personal exchanges. If you are a resident and would like to join this group just follow the link to request to join.
