On Saturday 25th June the church community would like to celebrate the lives of those buried in our churchyard. The idea is that villagers can walk around the churchyard and read about some of the people laid to rest in St Mary’s and perhaps meet one or two of their relatives. There will also be a Flower Festival in the church.
Do you know someone who is laid to rest in St Mary’s Churchyard? If you do then could you write two or three paragraphs encapsulating the life of that person(s) in the contact form, using the subject ‘Churchyard’? It will be forwarded to Nick Holmes who will organise the displaying of the text beside the grave.
It is intended to be a celebration of the lives of those now departed so do contribute if you can.
