We are awaiting our new VAS cameras, we are also in talks to purchase some new posts to position around the village so we will be able to capture speeding from all over our parish.
Our focus this year as a council is to improve the play park area with repairing and installing newer equipment, we are also in talks with the BBVA to install a new joint noticeboard onto the playpark area with a grant the BBVA have secured.
For all the work needed to upgrade our playpark we are appealing for volunteers to come forward so we can make this a real community project, please contact myself for offers and we will be putting together a working party within the next 3 weeks.
We also have works that need to be completed on the dry stone wall on the war memorial and the playpark wall, please do come forward if you are able to help.
We are also still awaiting our new bench for the Village green area to thank the OCC and Councilor priority fund for the grant to put towards our tree project. Driving through the Village now the trees are leafing up it’s a reward for all those involved.
