As always the Parish Council has been busy with many new improvements taking shape.
The playpark equipment is getting its new and improved look, it may have taken some time to get it, but you know what they say, good things come to those that wait.
The OCC have planted a new tree that has been donated to the Parish. The new footbridge has been installed thanks to OCC Highways, this has needed to be replaced for a while so a good job well done. The Willow tree has also now been pollarded and made safe down Station Lane so no more overhanging issues. Remember the next meeting will be on the 5th April at 7.00pm, Alvescot Village Hall if you wish to come along please do. If anyone is wishing to join the council please do contact the clerk for the paperwork. All election candidates must have the form filled out and returned by 12.00pm 5th April to WODC HQ.
