Parish Council December/January Post

Parish Council Update December 2024

The Council would like to wish all the parish a Merry Christmas and Happy new year, we wish you all health and happiness for the year ahead. As always we have vulnerable people in the village so please keep a close eye on your neighbours, and if possible help out where you can.

Looking forward into the new year we have a quote for a replacement climbing frame more information to come at the next meeting in January the 8th at Alvescot Village hall from 7.00pm.

The Council is also looking into applying for a community speed watch status, were if successful we will have the equipment to monitor the speed within the Village, if anyone is interested in helping to make our Village a safer and slower place to live please contact bbparishclerk@gmail.com.

Finally we have the following announcement.

It is with some regret that the Parish Council has to announce the resignation of Charlotte the long serving Parish Clerk.
I am sure we would all like to show our appreciation and thanks for the hard work, dedication and commitment that Lottie has shown as Parish Clerk over the last 5+ years.
She has played an integral and important role within the Parish Council and has helped enormously in developing the Council to where it is now.
The Parish Council would like to extend a huge thankyou to Lottie for all her help and support, and we wish her all the best in any future endeavors.
