The Black Bourton Village Association (BBVA) is a voluntary group that strives to support the community, preserve Black Bourton’s rural charm and character as well as create a great place to live and work in the Cotswolds.

- In our time – a photographic review of our recent past
- Behind the scenes – what the village volunteers get up to
Working with the Parish Council and Parochial Church Council, the association stands by the following;
Our vision is to run entertaining events, enhance village life and assist where appropriate in the development of local initiatives that benefit our community.
Our goals are to;
- Ensure our community is happy with the events we run each year
- Generate funds for worthy local causes
- Have a positive impact on village life
Key events throughout the year go to support our fund-raising and bring the village together, such as;
Our annual village fete. This is not to be missed with live music, locally produced food and drink, a dog show, children’s games, raffle and many many stalls that will keep the whole family entertained all afternoon.
The pub quizzes & race nights, at The Vines, our local pub and hotel, are a sell-out. The mix of banter and good food and drink pulls in people from far and wide.
Our choral concert and santa’s grotto are regular festive events held in St Mary’s church. Over the years we have supplied mince pies, mulled wine and gifts for our local children to celebrate all things Christmas!
Check out all our up-coming events for this year on the Events Calendar.
