The commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings on Thursday 6th June starts with a national ringing of bells, of which St Mary’s tower will be a part.
This will be followed on Saturday 8th June with a striking competition involving the Witney and Woodstock branch of bell ringers. It will last from 5-7pm in the evening, when you will be able to hear some of the most precise ringing our tower has yet to produce!
