As we approach formally joining the Benefice of Brize Norton and Carterton it’s good to start noting the activities at St John’s. Some from our village joined the Burns Night supper, which clearly went down very well. Other social events include:

- Tuesday/Wednesday 22nd/23rd February 9.30am–12.00: We are running a 2 morning Holiday Club for ages 5-11. Numbers are limited to 40, so talk to Gary asap to ensure a place: 07799968408
- Thursday 24th February at Kilkenny Country Park OX18 1EY: Family walk and picnic. Meet at the entrance 11am. (Booking not required.)
- Friday 25th February at Witney Lake and Leys: Family walk and picnic. Walk around the lake and onto the Leys for the picnic. There is a café and Playground at the Leys. Meet 11am Avenue 3 Station Lane, Witney OX28 4BB. (Booking not required.)
Events specific to church life include:
- Sunday 30th January 11.30 for 11.45: Vision meeting (10 from our village will be joining)
- Sunday 13th February 10.30: Confirmation
- Monday 21st February, 7pm: Training/refresher for all people who lead the intercessions or read in church, and for those who are interested in doing so.
- Friday March 4th 7pm: World Day of Prayer in St Britius, Brize Norton
